Summary:          

I am a self-propelled sales professional who likes to develop fresh markets with new and innovative products. One of my fortes is the launch of a new product. I have done that three times in my career and have always excelled and exceeded the goals set before me. I usually work by committing myself to the pre-established targets and boldly committing to a “management by objective” (MBO) contract. Experience.

2020 to present. Vice president of Sales and Marketing.

West Coast Salt and Minerals Distribution Inc. A start-up organization that Imports Himalayan Pink Salt from overseas to market and distributes it as a nutritional supplement for livestock farm animals in North American markets. 

Accomplishments.

  • Systematic launch of a new line of Himalayan Pink Salt (HPS).

  • Developed a sales team of ten sales professionals assigned to various territories.

  • Developed Brand imaging of HPS products for four different segments of the market.

  • Successfully penetrated HPS consumption markets in three Western States of the USA.

  • Generated a revenue stream that exceeded by 8% of the previous forecast for the year 2020.

  • Captured an 18% market share in the first two years of launching a new product.

2016 to 2020. Institutional Sales and Marketing Manager 

Sun Medical Equipment Inc. A well-established medical supplies company serving end-users and institutions with medical equipment and supplies. 

Accomplishments:

  • Introduced and sold medical supplies to 250 skilled nursing facilities in Southern California.

  • Hired and trained a team of six sales consultants to call upon nursing facilities for orders.

  • Developed training manuals to teach the sales team to use new medical devices.

  • Interfaced with physicians and other ancillary medical professionals to identify equipment needs of various customers with physical challenges.

  • Successfully handled increased business activity during the COVID-19 pandemic 2019-2022.
