Writing has been my passion since the very early life. In school I wrote short stories, poems, essays, and articles reporting on our school activities and especially those related to sports. After college I started my career in the Healthcare industry by creating a company that supplied medical equipment and supplies to the various healthcare facilities and the end-users. This involvement gave me an exposure to the needs of healthcare facilities. I was intrigued by the amount of written documentation that these facilities needed in their operations. 

Earning a degree in Professional English Writing gives me confidence that I can write on Business, engineering, medical, and legal subjects. Five specimens of my writing related to various subjects are being showcased here to illustrate the versatility of my writing skills. 

There is a dire need for professional writers within the medical industry as it relies on record keeping. Mandatory recording of treatment plans and procedures administered to the patient are recorded by the doctors and transcribed in written form. Training and instructional manuals, material data sheets, equipment assembling manuals, flow-charts describing various functions, and Policies and procedures books for operational matters are just a few of the writing requirements.

I believe that the demand for professional writers for the Healthcare Industry will increase with the passage of time. The population demographics of the US show an increased requirement of healthcare facilities. This will result in more documentation and eventually in the need for professional writers who could successfully produce simple but highly effective documents. My goal is to exploit the writing opportunities that will emerge in the coming years.
